The Ottobratica cultivar, native to the provinces of Reggio Calabria and Vibo Valentia, is an olive tree with a majestic bearing.
The resulting monocultivar oil has a golden-yellow color with green hues, a delicate and persistent aroma with pronounced notes of fresh grass, hints of wild thistle and golden apple, and a slight undertone of undergrowth.
Delicate, harmonious, and elegant, it has a balanced structure and light notes of bitterness and spiciness.
Due to the high content of polyphenols and tocopherols, typical of this cultivar, it has a strong antioxidant effect as confirmed by studies conducted by the Faculty of Agriculture of the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria and the Federico II University of Naples.
Our agronomists follow the entire production cycle, deciding year by year, for each individual olive grove, which fertilizers to use so that the plants grow healthy, an essential condition for obtaining a superior quality product.

We use only BIO line products from CIFO and periodically subject the soil to analysis in order to assess any nutritional needs.

The harvest, at the right stage of ripening, is carried out exclusively by hand and with pneumatic harvesters so as not to damage the drupes.

The olives are delivered to the mill within four hours of harvesting and the crushing is carried out cold in order to maximize the qualitative and organoleptic characteristics of the product.
